About Me

Yuexi Li was born and raised in China. After graduating from the Beijing Film Academy with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Directing, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her Master of Fine Arts in Film Production with an Editing Emphasis at Chapman University.

She has ten years of post-production knowledge and working experience, which prepared her to be a versatile collaborator. After interning for three years, she started working full-time for an award-winning trailer house Nurostar in China. In addition, she started working on feature films as an assistant editor. In early May 2022, she worked as an editor for the feature film Ciao. Which got a nominee for BEST FILM at Beijing International Film Festival 2023.

In 2022, Yuexi was hired by the award-winning trailer house MWA Trailers based in Los Angeles, marking the start of her career in the United States. In 2024, she received her first Golden Trailer Award nomination and went on to win her first Golden Trailer Award, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Yuexi is a motivated self-starter willing to explore new possibilities on any assigned projects while ensuring everything is in order. She constantly practices using minor cuts to achieve the best results and insists that there is only one best combination of footage to present the film's theme.
