About Me

Yuexi was born and raised in China. She worked in Beijing for three years as a feature editor at the award-winning post-production house Nurostar. After that, she freelanced as the editor on the feature film Ciao, which was nominated for Best Film at the Beijing International Film Festival in 2023.

In 2022, Yuexi was hired by the award-winning trailer house Mark Woollen & Associates in Los Angeles, which launched her career in the United States. In 2024, she received her first Golden Trailer Award nomination and went on to win her first Golden Trailer Award. In 2025, she received a second Golden Trailer Award nomination, marking continued recognition in her career.

Yuexi is a motivated self-starter willing to explore new possibilities on any assigned projects while ensuring everything is in order. She constantly practices using minor cuts to achieve the best results and insists that there is only one best combination of footage to present the film's theme.
